Campus Crime Report - 11/4 - 11/11

Here are the recent crime reports for UT-Tyler's main campus according to UTTPD's Daily Crime Log. For more information, visit UTTPD's Daily Crime Log webpage.

Editor's Note: No new crime reported this week. Here is the reported crime to date from October 1:

Harassment - Police received a report of an incident of harassment that occurred at Ornelas Hall on November 2 at 10:50 p.m. This case is closed. This report was for information only.

Burglary: Not a habitation - Police received a report of a burglary that occurred at or near Soules College of Business between November 2 at 9:00 a.m. and November 3 at 10:00 a.m. This case is open.

Disturbance, Drug/Narcotics Offense - Police responded to a disturbance at The Foundry Apartments that included a drug/narcotics offense on November 1 at 12:11 a.m. Police issued a written warning and closed the case.

Accident Motor Vehicle - Hit and Run - Police received a report of a hit and run accident that happened in Parking Lot 15 on Oct. 31 at 11:15 a.m. Police received the report on November 1 at 12:09 p.m. This case is open. 

Accident Motor Vehicle - Hit and Run - Police received a report of a hit and run accident that occurred on Liberty Lane (the campus road that runs to University Blvd alongside Soules College) on Oct. 30 at 8:55 p.m. This case is open.

Previously Reported Crime in October:

Criminal Mischief - Police received a report of criminal mischief that occurred in The Liberty Landing Apartments parking lot on Oct. 27 at 1:34 a.m. This case is open. 

Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Minor in Possession of Tobacco / Tobacco Products - Police encountered an incident of a minor in possession of alcohol and tobacco or tobacco products near Patriot Drive/Varsity Drive to Patriot Drive/University Drive(sic). Authorities issued a written warning an closed the case. 

Harassment - Police responded to a report of harassment Liberty Landing Apartments on Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. The incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. Police issued a criminal trespass warning and closed the case.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Police issued a written warning to an individual (or individuals) in possession of drug paraphernalia near Old Omen Road and University Blvd on Oct. 23 at 1:34 a.m. This case is closed.

Driving While Intoxicated -  Police issued an arrest for Driving While Intoxicated near the cross street of Old Omen Road and Belle Mere Drive on Oct. 21 at 3:38 a.m. Authorities closed the case with a criminal arrest.

Criminal Trespass - Police arrested an individual (or individuals) for criminal trespass at University Pines Apartments on Oct. 20 at 10:07 p.m. Authorities also issued a criminal trespass warning and closed the case. 

Sexual Assault - Police received a report on Oct. 26 of sexual assault that allegedly occurred at The Foundry Apartments on Oct. 4 between 8:40 a.m. and 10:11 a.m. Police issued a referral to the Title IX Office.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Police encountered an incident of possession of drug paraphernalia on Old Omen Road on Oct. 17 at 12:16 a.m. Police issued a written warning and closed the case.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Police responded to an incident of a minor in possession of alcohol and drug paraphernalia that occurred at Patriot Village Apartments on Oct. 12 at 11:02 p.m. This case is closed with a referral to Judicial Affairs. 

Harassment - Police received a report of an incident of harassment that occurred at Liberty Landing Apartments on Oct. 12 at 6:42  p.m. This case is closed. 

Disturbance, Drug/Narcotics Offense - Police responded to an incident of disturbance, drug / narcotics offense in The Foundry Parking Lot on Oct. 12 at 11:55 a.m. Authorities issued a criminal trespass warning and closed the case. 

Burglary: Habitation - Police received a report of a burglary that occurred on Oct. 4 between 8:40 a.m. and 10:11 a.m. at The Foundry Apartments. This case is open.

Harassment - Police responded to an incident of harassment that occurred on Oct. 3 between 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. at The University Center. Police issued a criminal trespass warning and closed this case. 

Harassment - Police responded to an incident of harassment that occurred on Oct. 2 at 11:56 p.m. at University Pines Apartment. This case is closed. 

Assault - Police responded to a report of assault that occurred on Oct. 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Patriot Village Apartments. This case was designated as Unfounded and closed.
